Talladega Superspeedway Race Camping
Your relaxing alternative to camping for the Nascar races in the spring and fall and off the path of the traffic and noise in a natural camping area with wooded acreage for more privacy. We have included the rates for camping and directions on this page. Please contact us at the phone number or email address below for any additional questions and for reservations.

RATES
Our rates are not per night, but are quoted for the entire long weekend stay, which includes Thursday through Monday or any part of that time.
Our primitive camping is $40.00 per person for the first two people and $20.00 for each additional person and includes the use of our portable hot showers. One night primitive camping is $35.00 per person for the first two people and $20.00 for each additional person.
Sites with water and electric hookups are $200.00 for up to four people and includes the use of our hot showers and the dump station. Any people over the first four would be an additional $30.00 each. Our portables service will also pump out your RV during your stay for a fee of $35.00 which you would pay directly to the servicing company.
There is also a 6% Alabama lodging tax that will be collected with your final payment upon arrival.
We require one half as a deposit and accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Check, or Money Order. The deposit is refundable (less a $10.00 processing fee) if your reservation is cancelled one month before the race. Otherwise, the deposit would be refundable (less the $10.00 processing fee) if we are able to fill that site.
SHUTTLE SERVICES
We have lots of fun on the shuttle, fondly called the "Redneck Limo", that is $5.00 per person for the round trip ride. We drop you off and pick you up across Speedway Boulevard from the FREE Speedway trams.
We are also located in an area north of Speedway Boulevard that allows for little traffic between us and the Boulevard. After crosssing the Boulevard, you have easy access to the Speedway FREE parking and FREE tram or pay parking on our side of the Boulevard, if you prefer to drive.
AMENITIES
The rocks for the campfire pits are supplied at your campsite and we have firewood and ice for sale. We have recently added a walking trail and are planning a pond in the far future. We have hot showers included in all of the rates listed above, portable toilets, and trash receptacles. And the "maid" comes every day...
The campground is located on 40 wooded acres at 11000 Jackson Trace Road (also marked with a yellow and blue Talladega County road sign numbered 456), Lincoln, Alabama, 35096.
DIRECTIONS
From the Speedway main entrance on Speedway Boulevard, turn left/west. About one mile on the right the second street is Dry Valey Road. Turn right/north onto Dry Valley Road and go one mile to Haynes Street on the right. Turn right/east onto Haynes Street and go to the end of the road (about one mile). Turn left/north onto Jackson Trace Road and the campground entrance is about 500 feet on the left. We do not recommend this route since the traffic can be terrible, but include it in order that you may get an idea of where we are in relation to the Speedway.
From Interstate 20 you may take Exit 168/Highway 77 or Exit 173/Eastaboga. From the east (Atlanta) you would take a right off of these exits to travel north about two miles. From the west (Birmingham) you would take a left off of these exits to travel north about two miles. You will then reach Highway 78.
From Exit 168, after going north on Highway 77, you will turn right at the light onto Highway 78 and travel about 3 miles to Jackson Trace Road/County Road 456 where you will turn right/south onto Jackson Trace Road. The campground entrance will be about two miles on your right.
From Exit 173, after going north on Highway 77, you will take a left at the caution light onto Highway 78 and travel about 5 miles on Highway 78 until you reach Jackson Trace Road/County Road 456 where you will turn LEFT/south onto Jackson Trace Road. The campground entrance will be about two miles on your right.
